Word on the skreets is that this show rocks the Cat's Paw. I will be viewing an evening show Sunday night, not sure what time for sure, if anyone is interested.

That looks like an interesting one, just just not a move I think I need to catch in theaters, sorry Zack.

It does look good, but I plan on seeing Despicable Me on Sunday evening.

I just saw a preview for that, it looks badass, however, I'm too cheap to go to the theater. ![]()

Saw it last night. Good movie, lot of thinking material after you leave. Might be a bit over-hyped. And be prepared for 2 1/2 hours.

At this point I actually prefer 2.5 hours, especially if the movie has a lot of intellectual material to develop. I understand that it costs more to make movies longer, but all too often that extra time is required to really make a movie work. There are characters to develop and plot to follow.

Ended up going to Inception instead of Despicable Me. I thought it was a pretty good flick. Lots of stuff to think about, beautiful CG, great settings and camera work. (The DVD had better explain how they made the damn hotel tumble around as the van crashed. (No, that sentence shouldn't make sense if you haven't seen it.) If that was pure CG... holy shit.) The script could have been better, and Leonardo just didn't seem that into it. Odd. Overall, a fun movie that hurts the brain a bit, but resolves itself by the end.

"Hey Nolan, congrats on Inception. Now that your little "dream movie" is done, time to get on to some real man business. BATman business." - God_Damned_Batman

Everybody I talk to that has seen it really liked it. I want to see this one as well before it leaves the theater. It looks like the effects were meant for that kind of viewing.

Media is raving about it; looks...amazing.
