Well, as I have discussed in passing with some of you, I'm working on compiling all the spells from all official WotC 3.x edition content, except what they've already got in the Spell Compendium; this includes totally comprehensive spell lists.
Last night, I decided, "Fuck it. All the spells. Everything. In one 400 page book. Might as well." So there you have it.

Yeah yeah, I think I've heard that from someone before. *picks up a mirror so I can glare accusingly at myself*

Megan... you have to tell me if he actually did that in person... cause that would be amazing.

I've already done more on it than you ever have Burt! And possibly you, Brandon, I don't know.
And no, Brandon, he didn't really do that. I promise.

Sure have.

Well, I'm finally finished with Oriental Adventures and the 3.5 update for it. Oh my fucking god...am I glad. I shouldn't be too glad because Forgotten Realms is a ways off and that'll be a rough one too...but I'm still happy for now. I'm tired of reading about Maho-tsukai, garegosu no bakemono, oni, and Shadowlands Taint. :-S

Hey, you're the one that brought this on yourself scribe, now get back to work!

Why are you reading all this stuff, aren't you just copying down the spells and descriptions?

As much as I zone out, I actually read much of what I copy, and sometimes I try to find relevant tables that go with the spell description and they aren't always where I expect to find them. There was also a spell list buried in the middle of the book with a prestige class, rather than with the other lists, that also had several variants of spells.
I also copy down pertinent information when possible if the spell says, "See chapter 2 in this book for more."

I recently finished with the 3.0 stuff (not counting Dragon mags) and it's interesting to see which books seemed to make the 3.5 update more than others. Apparently everyone at WotC thought that Tome & Blood and Savage Species were the shit because almost every spell in those had a 3.5 update. (And not just the, "Oh my God, what were we thinking, that was so broken," type update.
)
It also occurred to me that I should send a copy of this to Steve when I'm done.
